What are the benefits of using a motorcycle tire warmer? A tire warmer prepares your tires off track so that you can get the best grip and wear from the start. When tires are "up to temp" the rubber grips the surface best without tearing. Use a tire warmer to increase tire pressure (up to 20%) and allowing tires to "heat-soak" means there will be minimal pressure and temperature change to both the tire surface and internal tire carcass during the initial laps. When tires are heated; then cooled, a change occurs that can be seen sometimes as a blue tint which represents the internal oils migrating to the surface and the tire hardening as it oxidizes.
