What are motorcycle tire warmers? Electrically powered heating blankets designed to wrap around your tires and heat them to the required operating temperature and hot pressure required for motorcycle and trackday race tires. Ensure a great start by having your tires up to temperature for Turn 1, a hot tire has more traction which is especially helpful in the beginning of the race or trackday when every rider is maneuvering for position. When your tires (especially slicks) are up to temp, the entire tire carcass is flexible and pliable reducing cold tear (unnecessary wear) and loss of traction. Heat cycles are reduced between sessions reducing aging of the tire (created by the the # of times a tire gets hot and then cold) drying out the tire which hardens the active chemicals the engineers put in the tire to give it grip on the track. Heat your tire to the rim not just the surface and by setting your hot pressures correctly you can ensure your tire (no matter the brand, Pirelli, Dunlop, Michelin, Bridgestone) will be stable ands consistent throughout the race on track.
